Community Management Regulations

Preface

In order to ensure the quality of content on VikACG and maintain a good communication environment, these regulations have been established with an objective and fair stance.

These regulations are only applicable to the content, titles, tags, descriptions, and covers of all submissions on VikACG, outlining the basic rules for review approval. From the date of publication of these regulations, until new regulations are introduced, these regulations shall prevail and apply to submissions published after the date of publication.

The VikACG review team reserves the right to interpret these regulations and to regularly supplement and modify them.

Terminology

For ease of reading, this regulation uses some proprietary terms, which are explained below:

  • Submission: Refers to articles, ideas, supply and demand posts, comments and other content submitted to VikACG.
  • User Region: Refers to the user's home country or region, or the country or region that has legal jurisdiction over the user.

Submission Format Specifications

I. Title

  1. Format Description
    • Games: Game type + Game company + Complete game name (localized or not, recommended to include all for easy searching) + Whether localized (indicate machine translation or localization group translation) + Game platform + Game version number. Note: File size and game company are not required, simple game content summary is allowed.
    • Image Collections: Collection artist + Collection quantity (file size is not required, simple collection content summary is allowed) + Release time (based on year, can be subdivided by month). Note: Multi-artist collections may not specify artists, but must specify collection type.
    • Animation, MMD: Production group + Animation name + File format + Whether localized + Subtitle type + Resolution (embedded/external, animation file size is not required, simple animation content summary is allowed). Note: Subtitle type and resolution can be freely chosen to supplement.
    • Books: Book author + Book name (recommended to use localized name) + Book volume + Book file format + Whether localized. Note: Publisher and file size are not required, simple book content summary is allowed.
    • Music: Music author (singer/composer) + Album name + File format + File extraction format (digital/self-ripped) + File size + Bitrate. Note: Style specification is not required.
    • Film/TV: Production company + Movie name + File format + File size + Whether localized + Subtitle type + Resolution (embedded/external). Note: Simple content summary is allowed, actors are not required.
    • ASMR, Voice: Publishing group + File name + File format + Whether localized. Note: File size is not required, simple file content summary is allowed.
  2. Each section can appropriately adjust title content according to its own situation.
  3. The following content is prohibited in titles, violators will be warned, and repeat offenders will be placed in timeout.
    • Using summaries as titles.
    • Using titles as gimmicks that don't match the actual content.
    • Cloud storage files that don't match the title.
    • Using inappropriate language in titles.
    • Titles with insufficient information.
    • Invalid titles.
  4. Study, life, miscellaneous, and news sections are not subject to "Title" Article 1.
  5. The above content is the same as the corresponding part in "Content Publication Restrictions".

II. Content

  1. The main text must include a resource description, which must be consistent with the title and file content. Preview images and summaries may be optionally added. Animation and game resource posts must have browsing images or file overview images.
  2. Resource links must be written in the article, writing them in the summary will be rejected.
  3. It is recommended not to include video-type previews in the main text.
  4. When reposting articles, please do not include the original webpage format. In addition, basic article formatting rules should be followed to achieve a level suitable for readers. Articles without punctuation marks throughout will be rejected. Articles written entirely in interface languages not supported by this site without notation will be rejected.
  5. Except for necessary popular science descriptions, hyperlinks to sites other than this site are prohibited in the main text (note: hyperlinks), except for download links (note: download links here apply to the "Download Links" section below).
  6. QR codes and other paid links are prohibited in the main text, any behavior of trading resources for money is prohibited, and donation behaviors are not allowed.
  7. Spam posters will be placed in timeout for at least one month, with time subject to increase.
  8. The above content is the same as the corresponding part in "Content Publication Restrictions".
  1. All articles containing resources need to add backup cloud storage, currently recognized backup cloud storage includes OneDrive, Mega, Google Drive and other cloud storage services with relatively lenient content review. Note: Baidu Cloud, 115 Cloud, etc. are not in the backup cloud storage category.   2. All download methods must include all files claimed to be provided in the title and article body, split file sharing within the same cloud storage is allowed, split file sharing between different cloud storage is prohibited, and leaving links to other download methods in cloud storage is prohibited.
  3. If cloud storage links have extraction codes and decompression passwords, they must be written after the link, and writing them elsewhere is prohibited.
  4. All cloud storage access permissions must be "visible to everyone with the link" or permissions with equivalent meaning.
  5. Under the conditions of meeting Articles 1, 2, 3, and 4, adding other download methods is allowed, with the same requirements as Articles 2, 3, and 4. Note: With backup cloud storage and without violating the above regulations, additional compliant download methods are allowed
  6. Files in backup cloud storage cannot be deleted. If links encounter unexpected situations, supplementary links are required. Violators will be banned.
  7. Jump redirects for download links are not recommended.
  8. Download links must not contain any form of mandatory paid resource acquisition behavior, such as: using excessively slow download speeds (measurement standard depends on the average internet speed of the user's country/region) to force users to purchase memberships, mandatory user donations, etc.
  9. The above content is the same as the corresponding part in "Content Publication Restrictions".

IV. Rating, Sections, Tags, Permissions, Point Settings, Cover Images

  1. Articles must have correct ratings.
  2. Articles must be set to correct sections, single articles appearing in multiple sections is allowed.
  3. Tags must include the most basic content, such as: type, whether localized, platform used, etc. Discretionary additions are allowed.
  4. Articles containing download links need to set permissions, permission types are determined according to the author's needs, not mandatory. If articles set hidden content reading permissions, content_hide /content_hide must be used to hide links.
  5. Single resource point limit is 300, small collection point limit is 500, large collection limit is 2500. VikACG has the right to change points exceeding these limits. When resources are determined to be collections and exceed 50G in size, they will be considered large collections. The definition of collections may be appropriately adjusted by VikACG official.
  6. Cover images may be added as appropriate, not mandatory.
  7. Any form of private point trading is prohibited.
  8. VikACG does not provide point trading services.
  9. The above content applies to "Prohibited Content".

V. Comments

  1. It is strictly prohibited to write links in the comment section without the publisher's consent, violators will be banned
  2. The above content is the same as the corresponding part in "Content Publication Restrictions".

Content Publication Restrictions

I. Bottom Line Principles

Publishing anything that challenges bottom lines is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

  1. Opposition to the basic principles established by the constitution of the user's region.
  2. Content that endangers national security of any country, leaks state secrets, or splits the country.
  3. Content that damages the image of the user's region, tampers with the user's region or parodies national flags, national anthems, national leaders, etc. when not permitted by the user's region's laws, or makes users from other countries generally uncomfortable.
  4. Content that distorts, vilifies, blasphemes, or denies the righteous heroic deeds and spirit.
  5. Content that intensifies ethnic conflicts, mocks, ridicules, or hurts the feelings of ethnic groups, countries, and regions.
  6. Content that undermines the religious policies of the user's region, promotes cult ideology and extreme religious fundamentalism, making others uncomfortable.
  7. Content that spreads terrorism and dark web content, heavily depicting violent and bloody scenes.
  8. Spreading rumors such as exaggeration, fabrication, or unverifiable content authenticity that disturbs social order and undermines social stability.
  9. Real child sexual abuse material, or pornographic information published without the consent of the parties involved.

II. Spam Advertising

Publishing spam content that harms user experience and disrupts VikACG management order is prohibited, including but not limited to:

  1. Promotion and sales behavior with clear trading intentions, including but not limited to game accounts, cosmetics, pets, online recruitment, etc.
  2. Under the guise of sharing benefits, inducing users to leave VikACG through adding friends, joining groups, following, etc. for traffic diversion.
  3. Spam advertising harassment of others through private messages and other covert forms.
  4. Promotion and sale of information, products, or services related to drugs, gambling, weapons, etc.
  5. Publishing fraudulent information, such as pet shipping scams, promoting false online value, inducing clicks on harmful redirect links, etc.

III. Attack and Discrimination

Publishing insults, discrimination, ridicule, malicious incitement to attack, and other remarks that destroy community atmosphere is prohibited, including but not limited to:

  1. Insulting, slandering, or parodying others' real image and reputation.
  2. Using profanity to curse or threaten others or their friends and family.
  3. Maliciously ridiculing others with potentially irresolvable ambiguous words.
  4. Publishing remarks that demean others or certain groups' professional identity, social status, physical characteristics, health conditions, personal preferences, etc.
  5. Deliberately starting fights under others' posts, attacking others or their works, or continuously attacking and insulting others due to a single conflict.
  6. Deliberately exposing others' personal privacy information, inciting others to engage in cyberbullying.

IV. Pornographic Content

Under the condition of clearly marking ratings (ESRB/PEGI standards may be used), users can publish R18 or R18-G content, but if submitting R18-G content, users must inform the content rating in advance and clearly state that the submission contains violent and bloody elements.

Content containing the following types can be published as R18 or R18-G content under the condition of clearly marking ratings (ESRB/PEGI standards may be used):

  1. Fictional worldview works: Limited to virtual digital works with fictional worldviews, no real person content is allowed.
  2. Virtual rather than real-world images, videos, etc. that do not appear directly in articles.
  3. Educational materials: Including medical research materials, physiological hygiene education, etc.

V. Disturbing Content

Some submissions that seriously conflict with our site culture, violate the rating system, or are likely to cause strong disgust among viewers will be cautiously approved or not approved. Some submissions will also be rejected after receiving numerous user reports. These submissions include but are not limited to the following aspects:

  1. Painful and bloody: Including painful human disabilities, accident scenes, human body piercings, and animal slaughter, etc.;
  2. Violent conflicts: Including fights, physical conflicts, sudden local conflicts, etc.;
  3. Ethical cases: Including rape, gang rape, child abuse, incest and other incidents;
  4. Regional discrimination: Submissions that easily cause regional discrimination and mutual attacks;
  5. Ethnic conflicts: Submissions that easily cause ethnic conflicts;
  6. Medical and health: Including medical accidents, medical disputes, health safety, etc.;
  7. Animal abuse: Animal abuse incidents that cause strong discomfort;
  8. Weapons and prohibited items: Including explanation, teaching, and sales of goods explicitly prohibited by the user's region;
  9. Suicide inducement: Including various suicide live broadcasts, records, activities, groups, etc., and content that induces viewers to commit suicide;
  10. Crime inducement: Content that induces viewers to engage in criminal behaviors such as gambling, drug use, murder, etc.;
  11. Public outrage: Extremely heinous cases that easily cause great public outrage;
  12. Current politics: Discussing real political events that cause strong controversy.
  13. Scandal incidents: Including various photo scandals, leaked scandal photos, nude protests, nude movements and other incidents;
  14. Others: Other submissions that cause user dissatisfaction or numerous reports.

VI. Other Behaviors

To maintain the normal community order of VikACG, we also prohibit the following behaviors:

  1. Artificial or machine vote manipulation for improper exposure, including but not limited to harassment forms such as posts, comments, barrages, likes, follows, private messages, etc.
  2. Repeatedly publishing large amounts of the same or similar posts in a short period, as well as barrages and comments unrelated to the idea atmosphere and post content.
  3. Containing 3A game resources produced by Chinese mainland game studios.
  4. Stealing others' articles from the site.
  5. Using bugs or other means to maliciously interfere with VikACG's normal activity operations.
